Carissa Chantiles

Carissa studied International Peace and Conflict Resolution, focusing on the interplay between conflict and human rights. Along this vein, she has engaged in direct service work, project management, and research and analysis related to forced displacement, human trafficking, gender-based violence, human security, and mass atrocities.

In her free time, Carissa enjoys challenging herself to learn new skills, such as playing music, foraging, and cooking; expanding her understanding of the world around her, through reading and conversation; and going outside to burn energy, by playing soccer, mountain biking, and scuba diving.
